M25 Afula ISR – Naoki Nakagawa captures another title on hard court
The M25 Afula, hosted by the Afula Tennis Club Association, concluded with the title win of Naoki Nakagawa.
The 24-year-old Japanese benefited in the semi-finals from the withdrawal of French No. 6 seed Dan Added.
No. 4 seed Michail Pervolarakis, who represented Greece in both editions of the ATP Cup in Australia, eased past Canadian No. 2 seed Filip Peliwo in the stage of the last four in straight sets.
No. 8 seeded Nakagawa, who lives in Bradenton, Florida, withstood eight aces from his rival and gained one break more in the championship match to prevail 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 after two hours and 21 minutes. The former junior’s World No. 9 lifted his third singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour. The Fukoka native achieved all his titles on hard court.
“We were both a little bit nervous in the final, but we had a great battle today and I am very happy about my win. The organization was great and I hope to return here in a bigger tournament,” Nakagawa said during his winner’s speech.
M25 Harlingen USA – In-form Paul Jubb victorious in Texas
Paul Jubb won the trophy of the M25 Harlingen tournament held at Harlingen Country Club.
The British top seed made the last step to the final by defeating US-American No. 4 seed Christian Langmo in straight sets.
Gabi Adrian Boitan from Romania fought past Argentinian No. 3 seed Matias Franco Descotte in the semi-finals in three sets.
York-born Jubb won five points more in the title match to claim a 6-2, 1-6, 7-5 win after about two hours. The 22-year-old, who played college tennis for the University of South Carolina and captured the title of the NCAA Division Championships 2019, celebrated his seventh career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his fifth this season.

M25 Villers les Nancy FRA – Antoine Escoffier wins third title of 2021 on home soil
Antoine Escoffier took the title of the Open Grand Nancy Villers, hosted by the Comite Departemental de Meurithe et Moselle.
The 29-year-old emerged victorious from the all-French semifinal-battle against No. 6 seed Valentin Royer in three sets.
Maximilian Neuchrist from Austria stopped the run of French qualifier Maxence Broville in the semi-finals in three sets.
Top seeded Escoffier fired 12 aces in the championship match and won 81 per cent of his first-service points to triumph 6-4, 6-4 in 77 minutes. The Le Pont-de-Beauvoisin native celebrated his 12th career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his third on French soil this season.
M25 Aparecida de Goiania BRA – Oscar Jose Gutierrez prevails in Brazil
Clay-court specialist Oscar Jose Gutierrez got victorious at the Dove Men Care la Legion, held at Country Club de Goias.
In the all-Brazilian semi-finals, the No. 6 seed battled past last week’s Brasilia champion Gustavo Heide in straight sets.
Daniel Dutra da Silva, the No. 5 seed, booked the spot in the final with a three-set win versus Igor Marcondes, who entered the competition on position seven.
Twenty-eight-year-old Gutierrez capitalized on five of his 10 break-point chances by dropping one service-game in the title match to seal victory with 6-0, 6-4 after one hour and 28 minutes. The Porto Alegre resident lifted his fifth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them on clay.
M15 Benicarlo ESP – Pablo Llamas Ruiz triumphs again on home soil
Pablo Llamas Ruiz is the champion of the ITF Ciutat de Benicarlo, hosted by Club Tenis Benicarlo.
The 19-year-old Spaniard battled through the bottom half of the draw, beating Swiss No. 7 seed Damien Wenger in the semi-finals in three sets.
Russian No. 4 seed Ivan Gakhov edged out No. 5 seeded Carlos Sanchez Jover from Spain in the stage of the final four in straight sets.
No. 8 seeded Llamas Ruiz gained one break more in the championship match and won eight points more to prevail 6-4, 6-4 in 87 minutes. The Jerez de la Frontera native, who won the Junior Davis Cup 2018 alongside teen sensation Carlos Alcaraz, celebrated his second singles title on the ITF World Tour following his maiden triumph in Murcia last season.
M15 Indore IND – Manish Sureshkumar returns to winners’ circle
The M15 Indore tournament, held at Indore Tennis Club, concluded with the title win of local hero Manish Sureshkumar.
The No. 2 seed won the all-Indian semifinal-encounter versus Dalwinder Singh in straight sets.
Philip Sekulic from Australia cruised past fellow junior entry Dev Javia from India in the stage of the last four in two sets.
Chennai-born Sureshkumar outpointed his 18-year-old rival in the title match 88-77 to secure a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 win after more than two hours. Following his maiden title win in Sri Lanka 2018, the 22-year-old lifted his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Heraklion GRE – Francesco Maestrelli earns maiden trophy
Teenager Francesco Maestrelli captured the trophy of the M15 Heraklion, hosted by Lyttos Beach Tennis Academy in Crete.
The 18-year-old Italian took the last step to the final by defeating fellow teen Mark Lajal from Estonia in straight sets.
The tournament’s top seed Alastair Gray from Great Britain eased past Hungarian No. 5 seed Peter Fajta in the semi-finals in three sets.
Unseeded Maestrelli converted five of his nine break-point chances and lost two service-games in the championship match to succeed 6-0, 3-6, 7-5 after two hours and 33 minutes. The Pisa native celebrated his first singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Monastir TUN – Teenager Pierre Yves Bailly captures maiden title
Pierre Yves Bailly emerged victorious at the Magic Hotel Tours tournament, held at Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir.
The 18-year-old won the semifinal-clash against top seeded fellow Belgian Gauthier Onclin in straight sets.
German No. 7 seed Dominik Boehler cruised past No. 3 seeded Gage Brymer from the United States in the stage of the final four in two sets.
Lasting exactly three hours, junior entry Bailly won six points more in the title match to seal a 4-6, 7-6, 6-2 victory. The former junior’s World No. 7 lifted his first trophy on the Pro Circuit.

The 25-year-old Chilean advanced to the final with a straight-set win versus Romanian No. 2 seed Nicholas David Ionel.
Cezar Cretu from Romania knocked off the tournament’s top favourite Dragos Nicolae Madaras from Sweden in the semi-finals in three sets.
Antofagasta-born Malla broke his opponent’s serve in the title match five times without dropping a service game to claim a 6-0, 6-1 victory in 55 minutes. The No. 4 seed lifted his 12th career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them on clay.
