STARNBERG, January 15, 2022
The Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET) has released the schedule for ATP Challenger Tour tournaments to be held in Spain this season.
Two new events will substitute last year’s back-to-back Gran Canaria Challenger events: The clay-court swing in spring will conclude with an ATP Challenger 80 event in Madrid hosted by the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid and the Inacua Centro Raqueta in Málaga will kick off the hard-court swing in summer. The tournament in Andalusia’s second-biggest city will be followed by the prestigious Open Ciudad Pozoblanco and the historic Open Castilla y León in El Espinar. The Rafa Nadal Academy will host its fourth edition of the Rafa Nadal Open in Manacor.
The two biggest tournaments, part of the 125-series, are taking place in Marbella in late March and in Tenerife, the biggest of the Canary Islands, in late October. As last year, the Spanish calendar comprises a total of 11 Challenger events.
Desde el Club Open Ciudad de Pozoblanco – Memorial Fabián Dorado brindamos con todos vosotros por un nuevo año lleno de salud, felicidad, grandes momentos y mucho tenis.
Os deseamos…
