Vasek Pospisil of Canada claimed the title at the 13th edition of the Open Quimper Bretagne Occidentale. The No. 5 seed of the €45,730 ATP Challenger Tour hard-court tournament in northern France outlasted home favourite and 2019 champion Gregoire Barrere 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 in Sunday’s singles final.
On Court Central at the Parc des Expositions de Quimper, Pospisil struck three aces, won 78 per cent of his first-service points and broke his rival five times to seal victory in one hour and 47 minutes.

The World No. 138 captured his 10th ATP Challenger Tour career title, his first since Charlottesville, United States in November 2019.
Pospisil took away €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP Ranking points.
