BJK Cup Qualifiers: Germany Trail 2-0 Against Kazakhstan

The ITF has announced the results from the first day of play at the Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas Qualifiers. On Friday, the host nations’ No. 1 player competed against the away nation’s No. 2 player and vice versa.

On Saturday, the reverse singles matches will take place, followed by the doubles match. Nominations for Saturday’s matches are subject to change.

The 14 nations in action this weekend are competing for a place in the 2022 Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas Finals. The seven winning teams will join the four nations that have already secured a place at the Finals: 2021 runners-up Switzerland, Australia, Belgium and Slovakia. The host venue and the full line-up for the Finals will be announced in due course.
