Kimmer Coppejans has capped a dream week at the inaugural €45,730 Internationeaux Tennis de Toulouse, an ATP Challenger Tour 80 clay-court tournament held at the Stade Toulousain Tennis Club. The 28-year-old Belgian came from qualifying and won seven matches in eight days.
Coppejans rallied past Frenchman Maxime Janvier 6-7(8), 6-4, 6-3 in Sunday’s singles final. The World No. 292 withstood 11 aces and broke his rival’s serve four times to seal victory in two hours and 58 minutes. Coppejans recorded his fourth win over Janvier is many meetings between the two.

The Oostende native lifted his sixth career trophy on the ATP Challenger Tour, his first since the Copa Sevilla in Spain four years ago. Coppejans earned €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP Ranking points.
