M25 Glasgow GBR – Aidan McHugh triumphs in Scotland 

The Glasgow $25K Pro-Series, hosted by Scotstoun Tennis Centre, concluded with the title win of local hero Aidan McHugh. 

The Glasgow-born won the all-British semi-final battle against wildcard entry Giles Hussey in three sets.

Polish No. 2 seed Filip Peliwo stopped British wildcard entry George Loffhagen in the stage of the final four in three sets. 

Twenty-two-year-old HcHugh send down seven aces and won 75 per cent of his first-service points in the title match to prevail 7-6, 6-4 after one hour and 41 minutes. The top favourite celebrated his fifth singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them achieved on hard court.

M25 Girona ESP – Oriol Roca Batalla succeeds on home soil

Oriol Roca Batalla won the trophy of the ITF M$25,000 Ciutat de Girona, held at Club Tennis Girona.

The 29-year-old Spaniard made the last step to the final by defeating French No. 4 seed Titouan Drouget in the semi-finals in three sets.

Canadian No. 7 seed Steven Diez rallied past No. 6 seeded Alejandro Moro Canas from Spain in the stage of the last four in three sets. 

No. 2 seeded Roca Batalla won 83 per cent of his first-service points in the championship match and earned three breaks more to advance 6-3, 6-3 in 89 minutes. The Barcelona native lifted his 27th career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M25 Harlingen USA – Martin Damm prevails in Texas 

Left-handed Martin Damm emerged victorious at the Harlingen Country Club 25K Pro Circuit, hosted by Harlingen Country Club. 

The son of former Czech tennis professional Martin Damm sen. battled past his No. 3 seeded fellow US-American Strong Kirchheimer in the semi-finals in three sets. 

Former World No. 17 Bernard Tomic, seeded No. 7, battled through the bottom half of the draw, beating US-American No. 8 seed Andres Martin in the semis in straight sets.

Bradenton-born Damm fired 21 aces in the title match and won 80 per cent of his first-service points to seal a 6-7, 6-3, 6-4 win after two hours and 11 minutes. The No. 3 seed celebrated his third singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M25 Santa Margherita di Pula ITA – Daniel Michalski wins another title on clay

Daniel Michalski is the champion of the Fortevillage ITF Trophy, held at the venue of ASD Fortevillage, to celebrate his third season title. 

The 22-year-old from Poland knocked off Italian No. 6 seed Alexander Weis in the semi-finals in two sets.

German No. 7 seed Timo Stodder, who captured the title of the Fortevillage ITF Trophy in the last two weeks, reached his third consecutive final in Sardinia with a straight-set win against No. 4 seed Cezar Cretu from Romania. 

Top seeded Michalski capitalized on three of his four break-point chances in the championship match and lost two service games to triumph 7-6, 6-3 in one hour and 53 minutes. The Warsaw native lifted his eighth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his third this season, all of them won on clay.

M25 Rio de Janeiro BRA – Wilson Leite prevails on home soil

The Country Tennis Classic, held at Rio de Janeiro Country Club, concluded with the title win of local hero Wilson Leite. 

The No. 2 seed won the all-Brazilian semifinal-clash against wildcard entry Lorenzo Esquici in two sets.

Top favourite Jose Pereira set the all-Brazilian final with a straight-set win against Argentinian No. 4 seed Leonardo Aboian.

Rio de Janeiro-born Leite gained three breaks and 15 points more in the title match to claim a 6-3, 6-2 victory in 89 minutes. The 30-year-old celebrated his seventh singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour. 

M15 Cochabamba BOL – Juan Carlos Prado Angelo earns maiden trophy on home soil

Teenager Juan Carlos Prado Angelo captured the title of the Copa Golpex, hosted by Club de Tenis Cochabamba. 

The Bolivian No. 7 seed booked the spot in the final with a three-set win against Nicolas Bruna from Chile.

Italian No. 5 seed Davide Pontoglio finished the run of Colombian qualifier Enrique Pena in the semi-finals in straight sets.

Seventeen-year-old Prado Angelo fired 11 aces in the championship match and won 80 per cent of his first-service points to succeed 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 after one hour and 47 minutes. The Santa Cruz native lifted his first singles trophy on the Pro Circuit.

M15 Antalya TUR – Luca Tomasetto triumphs in Belek 

Luca Tomasetto wasvictorious at the Antalya Series, held at Megasaray Tennis Academy in Antalya. 

The 26-year-old Italian advanced to the final with a three-set win against French No. 2 seed Maxime Chazal. 

US-American No. 7 seed Bruno Kuzuhara cruised past sixth seeded Savva Polukhin in the semi-finals in two clear sets.

Unseeded Tomasetto converted five of his seven break-point chances in the title match by dropping one service game to secure a 6-4, 6-1 win in 88 minutes. The Cirie native celebrated his second singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour following his maiden championship in Cairo some weeks ago.

M15 Sozopol BUL – Alexandar Lazarov clinches back-to-back titles on home soil 

Following his title win at the same place last week, local hero Alexandar Lazarov was crowned champion again at the Santa Marina Cup 3, hosted by Santa Marina Tennis Centre. 

The top seed emerged victorious from the all-Bulgarian semi-final encounter against No. 6 seeded Alexander Donski in two sets.

Polish No. 4 seed Maks Kasnikowski stopped Bulgarian wildcard entry Simeon Terziev in the semi-finals in straight sets.

Florida-born Lazarov outpointed his rival in the championship match 61-45 to prevail 6-2, 6-4 in 78 minutes. The 24-year-old lifted his seventh career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his third this season.

M15 Heraklion GRE – Dino Prizmic wins debut title

Unseeded teenager Dino Prizmic took the title of the M15 Heraklion tournament held at the venue of Nama Golden Beach Hotel.

The current junior’s World No. 9 took the last step to the final by defeating Czech No. 7 seed Jiri Barnat in the semi-finals in two sets. 

Mario Gonzalez Fernandez from Spain edged out Dutch No. 8 seed Sidane Pontjodikromo in the semis in straight sets.

Seventeen-year-old Prizmic capitalized on five of his nine break-point opportunities in the title match and dropped one service-game to seal a 6-2, 6-1 victory in 83 minutes. The Split native celebrated his first singles title on the Pro Circuit.

M15 Sharm El Sheikh EGY – Ilia Simakin captures maiden title

Ilia Simakin clinched the trophy of the Egypt Men’s Future, hosted by Soho Square in Sharm El Sheikh.

The junior entry eased past lucky loser Finn Reynolds from New Zealand in the stage of the last four in two sets.

Slovakian No. 2 seed Lukas Pokorny won the semifinal-clash of the qualifiers against Andrew Rogers from the United States in straight sets. 

In the championship match with both players earning five breaks, teenager Simakin scored four points more to prevail 7-6, 2-6, 6-3 in about two hours. The 18-year-old lifted his first trophy on the Pro Circuit.

M15 Monastir TUN – Jaime Faria dominates in Tunisia

Jaime Faria took the title of the Magic Hotel Tours tournament, held at Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir, without losing a set the entire week.

The Portuguese No. 5 seed stopped the run of French qualifier Alexandre Aubriot in the stage of the final four.

The tournament’s favourite Hady Habib from Lebanon cruised past Frenchman Mathieu Scaglia in the semi-finals in straight sets.

Lisbon-born Faria struck six aces in the title match and won 85 per cent of his first-service points to claim a 7-5, 6-4 win after one hour and 41 minutes. The 19-year-old celebrated his second singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour following his championship on home soil earlier in the season.
