Aleksandar Vukic of Australia claimed the title of the Head Busan Open hosted by the Spo 1 Park Tennis Court in Busan, South Korea.
Vukic, No. 6 seed of the $160,000 ATP Challenger Tour hard-court event, benefited from the retirement of his compatriot and top seed Max Purcell. The World No. 87 was leading 6-4, 1-0 when Purcell was forced to stop playing due to a right ankle injury after one hour and 12 minutes.

Vukic advanced to the championship match with wins in the bottom half of the draw over South African Lloyd Harris, Sho Shimbukuro, second-seeded US-American Christopher Eubanks and Brand Holt from the United States.
By lifting his second ATP Challenger career trophy following his maiden triumph in Bengaluru, India last year, the 27-year-old earned $21,600 in prize money as well as 125 ATP Ranking points.
