DELRAY BEACH, October 24, 2023 (Press Release)

Reigning Delray Beach Open champion and Top 10 player Taylor Fritz will return to defend his 2023 title, tournament organizers announced today. The 32nd edition of the event takes place Feb. 9-18, 2024 at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center.

“We are thrilled Taylor will return to Delray to defend his title,” said Tournament Director Mark Baron. “Delray is tennis crazy and the fans will love seeing one of the world’s top 10 players right here.”

After becoming the first Top 10 player to hoist the Delray Beach Open trophy last February, Fritz moved up to No. 5 in the world. He has since won a sixth career title, reached five semifinals, made the US Open quarterfinals and helped the World Team win the Laver Cup. One of the featured players in the Netflix series Break Point, Fritz will try to become the first player to win back-to-back championships in Delray Beach since Jason Stoltenberg in 1996-97.

The top American, who turns 26 on Saturday, is currently fighting for a spot in the year-end ATP Finals as one of the year’s top eight players. At last year’s ATP Finals he defeated No. 2 Rafael Nadal enroute to a semifinal finish, culminating a breakout year that saw him win the biggest title of his career, the ATP Masters 1000 in Indian Wells, where he notched his first win over Nadal.

The 10-day Delray Beach Open will begin with an ATP Champions Tour event opening weekend Feb. 9-11. Singles and doubles main draw action for the ATP 250 event starts Monday, Feb. 12 and concludes with the finals on Sunday, Feb. 18. The tournament draws more than 60,000 fans annually.

While Veranda series tickets have already sold out, a variety of other series packages are still available including on-court “Best Seats in the House” (limited quantity), courtside box seats and reserved seats. Weeklong series packages start at $750 and include parking and exclusive amenities, making them one of the best deals around. Finals Weekender tickets for the last five sessions start at $350, and tickets can be shared with clients and family throughout the week. Single session tickets are on sale, as well.

The tournament boasts something for everyone, like an ATP Legends Clinic, ATP Doubles Pro-Am, USTA Florida Kids Day, Pride Night, Senior Day specials and group discounts, along with several parties that have become annual events. Visit the new-look website at DelrayBeachOpen.com or call 561-330-6000 for information on tickets, parties, special events and group rates.

Additional player commitments will be announced in the coming weeks and the full player list for next year’s Delray Beach Open will be released in January.
