#NextGenATP Italian Luca Nardi captured the title of the Napoli Tennis Cup organized by Master Group Sport in collaboration with the Tennis Club Napoli. Napoli is a captivating city located in southern Italy, overlooking the stunning Bay of Naples. As one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, Napoli boasts a rich history, vibrant culture, and diverse architectural heritage.
The No. 2 seed of the ATP Challenger Tour 125 clay-court event outlasted Pierre-Hugues Herbert of France 5-7, 7-6(3), 6-2 in Sunday evening’s singles final. Nardi withstood seven aces, broke his rival’s serve five times and won one point more to secure victory in two hours and 34 minutes.

By lifting his sixth ATP Challenger career trophy, his first of the season, Nardi collected €20,300 in prize money as well as 125 ATP Ranking points. The 20-year-old Pesaro native will rise to World No. 76, his new best ranking position.
Napoli Tennis Cup great success
The organizes stated that the 2024 Napoli Tennis Cup was a great success. More than 6,000 spectators visited the tournament throughout the week.
