Adrian Andreev has reached the quarterfinals of the Internazionali Di Tennis – Citta’ Di Vicenza being held at the Tennis Palladio 98. The 23-year-old Bulgarian knocked off No. 8 seed Genaro Alberto Olivieri of Argentina 6-3, 6-3 on Wednesday.
Andreev won 91 per cent of his second-service points and broke his rival four times to succeed in one hour and 30 minutes. Up next for the World No. 235 will be Nerman Fatic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who defeated Aziz Dougaz from Tunisia 6-2, 7-6(1) in one hour and 22 minutes.
No. 3 seed Tomas Barrios Vera of Chile and fifth favourite Marco Trungelliti have also both booked their spots in the stage of the last eight of the ATP Challenger Tour 75 tournament in Italy.
