Mats Rosenkranz has captured his maiden title on the ATP Challenger Tour by winning the inaugural Manzanillo Open. The 26-year-old unseeded German defeated third-seeded Colombian Gonzalo Oliveira 6-3, 6-4 in Sunday’s singles final.
Rosenkranz withstood 12 aces and broke his rival’s serve two times to seal victory in one hour and 17 minutes.

Rosenkranz, a winner of six titles on the ITF World Tennis Tour, earned $5,660 in prize money as well as 50 ATP Ranking points.
The first edition of the Manzanillo Open was hosted by the Las Hadas Golf & Country Club, located in the state of Colima on Mexico’s Pacific coast. Known as the “Sailfish Capital of the World,” it attracts fishing enthusiasts from around the globe for its annual international tournaments. The city also boasts an active commercial port, one of Mexico’s busiest, contributing significantly to the national economy.
