Rublev Returns To Rothenbaum Event In Hamburg

Andrey Rublev has been confirmed as the first top player to participate in the 2025 Hamburg Open, scheduled for May 17 to 24. The World No. 8 from Russia has enjoyed a successful 2024 season, capturing titles in Hong Kong and at the prestigious Mutua Madrid Open ATP Master 1000 event. His achievements also secured him a spot at the ATP Finals in Turin, showcasing his consistency among the world’s elite.

Rublev has a strong history with the Hamburg Open. He claimed the title in 2020 after an intense three-set final against Stefanos Tsitsipas and was a finalist in 2019. The 2025 tournament will mark his fifth appearance at the prestigious clay-court event in Northern Germany.

With 16 career ATP Tour titles to his name, including significant victories at Monte Carlo in 2023 and Madrid in 2024, Rublev is known for his aggressive baseline play and emotional style that resonates with fans.
