Parks acknowledged that the first set was tough and she struggled at the beginning, saying, “I told myself, ‘Alycia, you need to win this match.’” She emphasized the importance of fighting for every point and maintaining confidence in her abilities, crediting her coach for reinforcing this mindset.

The World No. 103 captured her fifth WTA 125 career title in addition to her WTA Tour triumph in Lyon, France last year. After reentering the Top 100, Parks is now focused on reaching the Top 50 and advancing step by step.
