Svrcina Secures Maha Open Crown In Pune

Dalibor Svrcina has captured the title of the PMRDA Powered Maha Open. The 22-year-old Czech defeated No. 6 seed Brandon Holt from the United States 7-6(3), 6-1 in Sunday’s singles final of the ATP Challenger Tour hard-court event in Pune, India.

Svrcina capitalized on four of his seven break-point opportunities and won 57 per cent of the total points played to prevail after one hour and 29 minutes.

The World No. 219 lifted his third career trophy on the Challenger Circuit following his triumphs on home soil in Prague 2021 and Prostejov 2023. Svrcina collected $22,730 in prize money as well as 100 ATP Ranking points.

The ninth edition of the PMRDA Powered Maha Open offered a total prize pool of $160,000 and was hosted by the Mhalunge Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune.
