Brandon Holt has captured the title of the 2025 DafaNews Bengaluru Open, India’s biggest international tennis event. The No. 3 seed of the ATP Challenger Tour 125 hard-court event defeated seventh-seeded Japanese Shintaro Mochizuki 6-3, 6-3 in Sunday’s singles final.

Holt advanced to the championship match with wins in the top bottom of the draw over Valentin Vacherot of Monaco, Australian Bernard Tomic, Russian qualifier Petr Bar Biryukov and British lucky loser Billy Harris.

The 26-year-old Californian dominated the final by converting five of his six break-point chances and winning 55 per cent of the total points played. Holt secured victory in one hour and 22 minutes.
