CURITIBA/STARNBERG, March 27, 2026
The Instituto Sports, in partnership with the Graciosa Country Club, has officially announced the new dates for the Copa Internacional de Tenis – ATP Challenger 75 in Curitiba. The tournament, which achieved the historic milestone of being named the Best Challenger 75 Event in the World by the Association of Tennis Professionals in 2025, will take place from September 27 to October 4, 2026.
The strategic adjustment in the calendar aims to optimize player logistics and strengthen the South American swing, ensuring that the capital of Parana hosts a highly competitive field. The event will once again be staged on the traditional clay courts of the Graciosa Country Club, a venue that played a key role in earning the ATP’s excellence award last year.
Curitiba’s recognition as the best tournament in its category in 2025 marked an unprecedented achievement for Brazilian tennis. Players on the circuit evaluated criteria such as infrastructure, services, organization, and the overall atmosphere provided by both the club and the city. Among 98 Challenger 75 events held worldwide, Curitiba received the highest average rating, surpassing traditional venues across Europe and the United States.
Since its inception in 2016, the Curitiba Challenger has served as a springboard for both international and Brazilian talents. In the most recent edition, Paraguay’s Daniel Vallejo claimed the title in an exciting final against Brazil’s Pedro Boscardin Dias. In 2024, it was Portugal’s Jaime Faria who lifted the trophy in Curitiba, with both champions going on to make significant progress in the ATP Rankings following their victories.
For 2026, expectations are even higher, with larger crowds anticipated and further improvements planned to celebrate the tournament’s global recognition. The event will offer total prize money of $107,000, along with 75 crucial ATP Ranking points for the champion.
The Copa Internacional de Tenis – Year III was presented in 2025 by Philco through Brazil’s Federal Sports Incentive Law, with co-sponsorship from several major brands. The tournament is part of the global ATP Challenger Tour 75 calendar and continues to establish itself as one of the premier stops on the circuit.
