MASPALOMAS/STARNBERG, July 7, 2026
Gran Canaria will once again welcome one of the most prestigious tournaments on the international women’s tennis calendar when the ITF World Tennis Tour W100 DISA Gran Canaria–Maspalomas 2026 takes place from July 26 to August 2 at the Club Conde Jackson Tennis Maspalomas.
The event is the only W100 tournament in Spain and one of just six W100 tournaments held in Europe. Offering $100,000 in prize money and valuable WTA ranking points, the tournament will attract leading international players looking to strengthen their rankings and improve their chances of qualifying for the sport’s four Grand Slam tournaments—the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open.
Qualifying matches will begin on Sunday, July 26, with players competing for places in the main draw. The singles and doubles main draws get underway on Tuesday, July 28, while the doubles final is scheduled for Saturday, August 1. The singles championship match will be played on Sunday, August 2, at 6:00 p.m. All matches will be open to the public with free admission, subject to venue capacity.
The 2026 edition follows another significant achievement for the tournament, having received recognition from the International Tennis Federation (ITF) for the second consecutive year in acknowledgement of its outstanding organisation and contribution to the development of professional women’s tennis worldwide. The award highlights not only the tournament’s sporting quality but also its organisational standards, institutional cooperation and the first-class experience provided to players, officials, support teams and spectators.
The competition will once again be staged at the Club Conde Jackson Tennis Maspalomas, located in the Campo Internacional area of San Bartolome de Tirajana, a venue renowned for its favourable climate, excellent tourism infrastructure and high-quality sporting facilities.
The tournament will also benefit from extensive media coverage, with the latter stages broadcast by Movistar+ Vamos 3, RTVE, Tennis Channel and Marca TV, further promoting the Canary Islands as a leading international sports destination.
The ITF World Tennis Tour W100 DISA Gran Canaria–Maspalomas 2026 is organised by Club Deportivo Conde Jackson with the support of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, through Turismo de Gran Canaria and the Instituto Insular de Deportes, the Government of the Canary Islands through Promotur Turismo de Canarias, and the Municipality of San Bartolome de Tirajana through its Department of Tourism.
