Madison Keys will meet Sloane Stephens in an all-US-American final at the US Open on Saturday. Keys cruised past CoCo Vandeweghe in dominant fashion, 6-1, 6-2, firing 25 winners to advance to her first Grand Slam title match after 66 minutes. It was Keys’ third win over Vandeweghe in the last month.

”I feels amazing, these are moments growing up you dream about,“ told Keys. ”It was one of those days where I came out and I was in a zone and forced myself to stay there.

”I had to rise to the occasion and I‘m just happy to be in the final.

Earlier in the evening, Sloane Stephens, who missed last year’s US Open due to right foot injury, outlasted No.9 seed Venus Williams, 6-1, 0-6, 7-5. The 24-year-old from Florida was more solid on her second serve, winning 55 per cent of the points and broke her opponent five times to prevail after two hours and seven minutes.

“I’m super happy to be in a Grand Slam final,” Stephens said, in her post-match press conference. “To do it here, obviously, my home slam, is obviously more special. I think this is what every player dreams about.”

Stephens won the only previous meeting between the two friends with a straight sets victory in Miami two years ago.

Men’s Doubles Final Set
