Two #NextGenATP players will compete in Sunday’s final of the €106,500 Open Brest Arena Crédit Agricole, as Stefanos Tsitsipas plays Corentin Moutet for the ATP Challenger title in Brittany.

Tsitsipas knocked off second seed Marius Copil of Romania 7-6, 7-6. The 19-year-old from Greece sent down seven aces, winning 83 per cent of his first service points to prevail after one hour and 38 minutes.

“It was a tough match today,” Tsitsipas analyzed. “I managed to keep calm in the tie-breaks, served well and was aggressive. I feel that I have the support of the crowd since the beginning of the week and it helps me to play well.”

Moutet, who entered the main draw with a wild card, rallied past Yannick Maden from Germany 4-6, 7-6, 6-4. The French teenager capitalized on four of his 11 break point opportunities to seal victory in two hours and 39 minutes.

Tsitsipas and Moutet will meet for the second time.

“I played Stéfanos Tsitsipas last year on clay and lost,” told Moutet, who will appear in his first ATP Challenger final. “He is a good server, a good player anyway but tomorrow I will return to the court and I know that I will have to give my best.”

Tsitsipas could lift his second Challenger trophy following his triumph in Genova earlier this season.
