Tennys Sandgren, Michael Mmoh, Stefan Kozlov and Tim Smyczek complete an all-US-American line-up in the semi-finals of the $75,000 Charlottesville Men’s Pro Challenger held at the Boar’s Head Sports Club.

Sandgren eased past Canadian Brayden Schnur 6-1, 6-2 on Friday. The top seed saved all three break points he faced, converting four of his own to advance in only 54 minutes.

Sandgren will meet Michael Mmoh in the stage of the final four. The tournament’s number seven defeated Ruan Roelofse of South Africa 7-6, 6-4. Mmoh withstood 11 aces and broke serve twice to secure victory in one hour and 24 minutes. Sandgren will take on the teenager for the fifth time. Their head to head series is tied at 2-2.

Stefan Kozlov emerged victorious from the all-US-American encounter with Denis Kudla 6-4, 6-3. The 19-year-old won 56 per cent of the total points played to prevail after one hour and 17 minutes. Kozlov will next face Tim Smyczek, who benefited from the retirement of second favourite Henri Laaksonen from Switzerland due to a right leg injury. The unseeded from Florida was leading 7-6, 2-1.
