The ATP honoured Tommy Haas on Wednesday afternoon in Halle for his “outstanding career”. ATP supervisor Miro Bratoev presented Haas a picture collage with highlights of his career on the terrace of the GERRY WEBER SPORTPARK HOTEL.

The main photo shows Haas as champion of the GERRY WEBER OPEN 2012, after beating his friend Roger Federer. It was his second success in Halle following his triumph in 2009. Haas reached a career high World No. 2 in May 2002. The 40-year-old German was ranked inside the Top Ten for a total of 83 weeks and in the Top 100 for 766 weeks, lifting 15 trophies in about two decades on the ATP World Tour.

Haas is now tournament director of the ATP Masters 1000 in Indian Wells and coach of Frenchman Lucas Pouille.
