Andy Murray, the inaugural titlist in 2014, and defending champion David Goffin return to the Shenzhen Open for the tournament’s fifth edition. Tomas Berdych was victorious at the ATP World Tour 250-level event in 2015 and 2016.

A trio of #NextGenATP stars — Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, Canadian Denis Shapovalov and Australian Alex de Minaur — are also in the field.

Fognini top seed at Chengdu Open

A new champion will be crowned at the Chengdu Open, where the field features six players who have captured tour-level titles this season. Fabio Fognini, who has already triumphed three times this campaign, is the top seed.

But there are plenty of contenders in the field, including 2017 Next Gen ATP Finals champion Hyeon Chung, Hamburg titlist Nikoloz Basilashvili, fifth seed Gael Monfils and more.
