TIBURON, September 26, 2018
Michael Mmoh from the United States and Darian King of Barbados faced each other on day four of the $100,000 Wells Fargo Tiburon Challenger, in a repeat of the finals in 2016, in which King prevailed to become that year’s champion.
The result, however, was far different this time, as Mmoh cruised to a 6-2, 6-4 victory, eliminating King from further competition. King came into the tournament ranked World No. 188, while Mmoh was ranked at World No. 108 and was also fresh off a $75,000 Challenger Tour win in Columbus.
