LUDWIGSHAFEN, June 12, 2019
Three players ranked inside the top 100 lead the entry list of the inaugural Ludwigshafen Challenger to be held from 1 to 7 July 2019 at the venue of the BASF Tennis Club Ludwigshafen. World No. 94 Henri Laaksonen from Switzerland, Italian veteran Paolo Lorenzi and local favourite Yannick Maden, who reached a new career high at World No. 99 after the French Open, will be part of the line-up.
Yannick Hanfmann, Dustin Brown, Oscar Otte, Rudi Molleker, Mats Moraing, Tobias Kamke and Daniel Masur will also fly the German flag. Carlos Berlocq of Argentina, Spaniard Tommy Robredo and Lukas Rosol will represent the veterans of the tour.

The ATP Challenger 80 clay-court event will be the first tournament to feature a 56-man draw. In order to manage the action, the ATP will send two supervisors to Germany. Hans-Jürgen Ochs and Stephane Cretois will be on site as well as ATP-Tour manager Denis Zivkovic.
