First players arrived in Tyrol, Austria to compete in the THIEMs7 presented by Soccercoin tennis exhibition, which will kick off in Kitzbühel on Tuesday, July 7. On their arrival, players and their entourage have been tested for Covid-19. All 60 tests are negative.
“It’s just fantastic to be here again. I’m really looking forward to seeing the other players again. Most of them, I haven’t met since March in Indian Wells,” host Dominic Thiem stated in a press release.

First up on Center Court on Tuesday at 1 pm local time will be Andrey Rublev from Russia and Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff, followed by Thiem taking on Norwegian Next-Gen star Caspar Ruud. Dennis Novak from Austria will play Italy’s Matteo Berrettini. In Tuesday’s night session Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut will face Karen Khachanov of Russia and Sebastian Ofner will oppose Lucas Miedler in an all-Austrian affair.
Matches will be broadcast in Austria on Servus TV. Eurosport has secured the international TV rights to show the event in Europe as well as the Asian-Pacific area.
