Due to the ongoing situation surrounding COVID-19, the Unites States Tennis Association (USTA) has cancelled all five ITF World Tennis Tour events taking place in the United States in August. It was announced that this decision was made to ensure the health and safety of all those involved with these tournaments.
The events include:
– Week of August 3
Lexington, Ky. – ITF World Tennis Tour W100 event
-Week of August 10
Landisville, Pa. – ITF World Tennis Tour W100 event
-Week of August 17
Concord, Mass. – ITF World Tennis Tour W100 event
Decatur, Ill. – ITF World Tennis Tour M25 event
Memphis, Tenn. – ITF World Tennis Tour M25 event
Last month, the International Tennis Federation announced that the ITF World Tennis Tour will resume from 3 August for the women’s events and 17 August for the men’s events and both will include singles qualifying, main draw singles and doubles rounds.
