Following his triumph at the Challenger Eckental in Germany in November last year and finishing runner-up on home soil at the ATP 250 Delray Beach Open earlier this month, #NextGenATP US-American Sebastian Korda has reached his third straight final at the Open Quimper Bretagne Occidentale in France.
The No. 2 seed of the €88,520 ATP Challenger tournament fought past local favourite Benjamin Bonzi 7-6(5), 7-6(1) on Saturday. Korda struck 10 aces and won 69 per cent of his first-service points to secure victory in one hour and 35 minutes.

The 20-year-old Florida native will take on Filip Horansky in the championship match. The 28-year-old from Slovakia edged past US-American teenager Brandon Nakashima 7-6(10), 4-6, 6-4. Horansky converted five of his eight break-point chances to prevail after two hours and 23 minutes.
Both players are seeking their second ATP Challenger career title. Horansky could lift his first trophy since 2018 Meerbusch, Germany.

Later in the day, Gregoire Barrere and Albano Olivetti took the doubles title. The French duo defeated James Cerretani of the United States and Marc-Andrea Huesler from Switzerland 5-7, 7-6(7), 10-8 in the final. The encounter lasted one hour and 41 minutes.
