M15 Antalya TUR – Alexander Erler victorious in Turkey

Big-serving Aleander Erler is the champion of the M15 Antalya tournament, hosted by the Club Megasaray in Belek.

The No. 3 seed from Austria, who clinched the title of the Just Pools Kirschbaum International three weeks ago, made the last step to the final by beating Brazilian qualifier Orlando Luz in the semi-finals in straight sets. 

The tournament’s second favourite Adrian Andreev from Bulgaria battled past Swiss No. 4 seed Sandro Ehrat in the stage of the last four in three sets.

Innsbruck-born Erler won 83 per cent of his first-service points in the championship match to secure a 6-4, 6-1 victory in 78 minutes. The 23-year-old, who is based at the ATC-Academy of Wolfgang Thiem in Traiskirchen near Vienna, celebrated his seventh singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his second in 2021.

M15 Monastir TUN – Luca Potenza clinches another trophy in Tunisia

Following his maiden championship at the same place last season, Luca Potenza captured another title at the Magic Hotel Tours tournament, held at Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir. 

The 20-year-old Italian edged past Tunisian top seed Aziz Dougaz in the stage of the final four in three sets.

Last week’s Monastir champion Lucas Catarina from Monaco booked another spot in the final with a three-set win against Alexander Donski from Bulgaria.

Unseeded Potenza broke his opponent’s serve six times in the title match to prevail 1-6, 6-2, 6-1 after one hour and 52 minutes. The Licata native has lifted his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Ramat Hasharon ISR – Ben Patael prevails on home soil 

The M15 Ramat Hasharon in Memory of Jack Baron, hosted by the Israel Tennis & Education Center, concluded with the title win of Ben Patael.

The No. 6 seed knocked off the tournament’s top favourite Edan Leshem in an all-Israeli semifinal-encounter in two sets.

No. 2 seed Yshai Oliel of Israel advanced to the final with a straight-set win versus No. 3 seeded US-American Felix Corwin.

Tel Aviv-born Patael won six points more in the championship match to claim a 6-4, 6-4 win in 95 minutes. The 23-year-old celebrated his fourth singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Cairo EGY – Matheus Pucinelli de Almeida wins second title in 2021

Matheus Pucinelli de Almeida triumphed at the Egypt Men’s Future, held at Al-Solaimaneyah Center in Cairo.

The 20-year-old Brazilian defeated Jose Fco. Vidal Azorin from Spain in the stage of the last four in two sets.

Bulgarian qualifier Simon Anthony Ivanov continued his great run by defeating No. 2 seed Oliver Crawford from the United States in the semi-finals in straight sets.

In the championship match, No. 6 seeded Pucinelli de Almeida benefited from the retirement of his rival at the score of 7-5, 1-0. Following his title win in Antalya some weeks ago, the Campinas native lifted his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
