The inaugural Kyiv Open concluded with the title win of Franco Agamenone on a sunny Sunday afternoon in Kiev, Ukraine. The 28-year-old Italian upset top seed Sebastian Baez of Argentina 7-5, 6-2 in the singles final of the €44,820 ATP Challenger Tour clay-court tournament held at TC Tennis Park.
Unseeded Agamenone advanced to the championship match with wins in the bottom half of the draw over US-American Stefan Kozlov, No. 8 seed Tristan Lamasine of France, local wild card entry Oleksii Krutykh and Timofey Skatov from Kazakhstan.
The World No. 291 converted five of his 10 break-point chances and won 57 per cent of the total points played to prevail after one hour and 23 minutes.
Following his maiden triumph at the IBG Prague Open in the Czech Republic in late August, Agamenone captured his second ATP Challenger Tour career title and pocketed €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP Ranking points.

Nedovyesov/Luz earn doubles title
On Saturday, Orlando Luz of Brazil and Aleksandr Nedovyesov from Kazakhstan took the doubles title. The top seeds defeated the all-Ukrainian combination and second seeds Denys Molchanov and Sergiy Stakhovsky 6-4, 6-4. The final lasted one hour and six minutes.
By winning their first team title and seventh individually this season, Nedovysesov and Luz split €2,670 in prize money and earned 80 ATP Doubles Ranking points.
