Pedro Cachin has clinched his fourth career title on the ATP Challenger Tour by winning the Internazionali di Tennis Città di Todi on Sunday. The top seed of the €45,730 clay-court tournament in Umbria, Italy defeated fellow Argentine Nicolas Kicker 6-4, 6-4 in the singles final.
Cachin sent down six aces and won 68 per cent of his second-service points to seal victory in one hour and 52 minutes.

“Every child dreams of entering the Top 100 and it is wonderful to have succeeded this week here in Todi. I won a challenging final against Nicolas, a guy I know well and who played a great tournament,” said Cachin, who has reached a new career-high Ranking of World No. 98.
By lifting his third Challenger trophy this season following his triumphs at the Open Comunidad de Madrid and in Prague, the 27-year-old South American earned €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP Ranking points.
“I thank all those who have believed in me over the years. In the coming weeks I will give my best to enter the main draw of the US Open,” said Cachin. “At 27 I feel I am young and I look forward to achieving other great goals. Here in Italy I always feel good and in Todi I have received a great welcome, it is a title that I will carry in my heart.”
