The 51st edition of the National German Tennis Championships presented by Tannenhof concluded Sunday. On the final day, spectators at the tennis base of the Württembergischer Tennis Federation in Biberach an der Riß saw two first-time winners in Ella Seidel and Jakob Schnaitter.
Exactly one week after the start of the event, Seidel added her name to the list of champions in the women’s singles competition. The 17-year-old from Hamburg defeated 14-year-old Sonja Zhenikhova 6-4, 7-5 in the final.
