STUTTGART, May 11, 2023
Jan-Lennard Struff will compete in this year’s BOSS Open in Stuttgart. The ATP 250 grass-court tournament will be held from June 10 to 18 at the Tennis Club Weissenhof. The 33-year-old German will try to continue his good run of form on home soil after finishing runner-up at the Mututa Madrid Open ATP Masters 1000 event last week.
Struff also has good memories of Stuttgart, having reached the semi-finals here in 2019. “I’m looking forward to the tournament in Stuttgart, switching to grass a few years ago was great for the event. I feel very comfortable at the Weissenhof and look forward to serving in front of a German audience,” emphasizes Struff, whose upward trend has already become apparent with the quarterfinals at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Monte Carlo.
“Jan-Lennard Struff showed outstanding performances both in Monte Carlo and in Madrid. The BOSS OPEN have been an integral part of his tournament calendar in recent years. We are delighted that he will be coming to Stuttgart again this year. He’s in great form at the moment, so I’m sure he’ll be a force to be reckoned with at the Weissenhof,” says tournament director Edwin Weindorfer.
