Greek superstar Stefanos Tsitsipas will again open his grass-court season at the Tennis Club Weissenhof in Stuttgart. This was announced by the organizers of the BOSS Open on Thursday.

The World No. 5 captured his first ATP Tour title on grass last season at the Mallorca Championships, which like the BOSS OPEN is organized by e|motion sports. As a consequence, Tsitsipas has become a tournament champion on all three surfaces on the ATP Tour. In 2023, the 24-year-old has reached the finals of both the Australian Open in Melbourne and the ATP 500 event in Barcelona. Tsitispas also reached the semi-finals at the ATP Masters 1000 in Rome and most recently the last eight at Roland-Garros in Paris.
“We are delighted that Stefanos Tsitsipas, another top 10 star, will be competing at this year’s BOSS OPEN. With his victory last year at the Mallorca Championships, he has also proven his qualities on grass. With his participation, the circle of favorites in Stuttgart has become even bigger,” Tournament Director Edwin Weindorfer stated in a press release.
Kyrgios and Berrettini arrive in Stuttgart
Defending champion Matteo Berrettini of Italy and Australian Nick Kyrgios have already arrived in Stuttgart on Thursday. BOSS brand ambassador Berrettini has already triumphed twice (2019, 2022) at the ATP 250 grass-court event and still has a spotless white vest after nine matches at the Weissenhof. Kyrgios reached the semi-finals in 2018 as well as in 2022.
The BOSS Open will be held from June 10 to 18 at the Tennis Club Weissenhof in Stuttgart. For more information and tickets, please visit the tournament’s official website.
