“I started the match quite nervously. It’s normal that this happens in important matches, in finals. I am just happy that I got the win today. Pedro had an amazing week and I am really happy for him. He is a great guy but I got the best out of this match today and won the title here. It is really important for me,” said Seyboth Wild.
The 23-year-old lifted his fourth ATP Challenger Tour career title, his third of the season following his triumphs in Vina del Mar, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Seyboth Wild earned €9,880 in prize money as well as 75 ATP Ranking points and is projected to crack the Top 100 for the first time in his career.
