The ATP Challenger Tour is back in Argentina for the 8th edition of the Challenger Buenos Aires. The $130,000 clay-court event is being held this week at the Racket Club in Buenos Aires.
Last year’s champion and No. 2 seed Juan Manuel Cerundolo opened his title defence with a 6-3, 6-3 win over fellow Argentine Andrea Collarini on Monday. The World No. 102 capitalized on six of his 10 break-point chances to secure victory in one hour and 28 minutes.
Up next for Cerundolo will be either Italian Andrea Pellegrino or Andrea Collarini of Argentina.
