“It’s really great to see what the team achieved this weekend,” Jerry was pleased with the outcome. “We defeated a strong team from Kirchdorf in the semi-final and also showed an impressive performance in the final. I am very proud of the team and now we will have a nice celebration, as we really deserved it.”

Top player Gerald Melzer was also happy. “I haven’t won an Austrian national title so far. So this is something special for me. I played my first season for Gleisdorf and I really enjoyed it. The team spirit could not have been better and the atomosphere on court was great. I won all of my matches in front of packed stands. For me and the entire team it was a perfect weekend.”
