On Wednesday, Raonic has officially withdrawn from the Erste Bank Open 500 in Vienna and the Rolex Paris Masters, his final two events of the year due to injury concerns. The big-serving Canadian is ending the year with a 29-12 record. It includes two finals, two semi-finals and four quarterfinals. Raonic will return to action in Brisbane next year.
12-times Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic, three-times major winner Stan Wawrinka as well as Kei Nishikori have all ended their seasons early to recover from injuries.
