USTA Press Release, April 13, 2018
The USTA and the Sloane Stephens Foundation hosted on Thursday a Net Generation Day for more than 400 elementary and middle school children at Centennial High School in Compton, Calif., to encourage healthy and active lifestyles.
The Sloane Stephens Foundation and USTA’s youth initiative, Net Generation, aim to inspire the next generation of tennis players as well as help empower children around the world to dream big and achieve on and off the court. It is a not-for-profit organization that develops sustainable enrichment programs for school-aged children. They work with school districts, community leaders, and like-minded parties to empower children to achieve in the classroom, on the court, and everywhere in between.
