Ina Kaufinger from TC Rot-Weiß Straubing and Yvo Panak of MBB SG Manching are the new singles champions of the 2018 Bavarian Championships held at the Tennis Club Ismaning last weekend.

In sunny conditions on Sunday, Kaufinger defeated Lara Schmidt 6-2, 6-4 in the women’s final. 23-year-old Panac, who was born in Stuttgart, edged past Slovakian Davis Cup player Ivo Klec 7-6, 6-2 in the men’s title match.
