Galovic will next face Christian Garin. The 22-year-old from Chile beat No. 5 seeded Argentine Juan Ignacio Londero 6-4, 6-2 in one hour and eight minutes.
Salvatore Caruso fought past Facundo Arguello of Argentina 6-2, 7-6(4) to set an all-Italian encounter with Matteo Donati in the stage of the final four.
