SEVILLE, September 3, 2015
The 25th edition of the € 42,500 ATP Challenger tournament “Copa Sevilla – International of Andalusia”, which kicks off this Saturday at the Real Club de Tenis Betis, was presented on Thursday in Seville. Pablo Carreῆo-Busta, current world number 54 and the tournament’s defending champion, tops the list of participants, which also includes three time winner Daniel Gimeno-Traver, Iῆigo Cervantes, Albert Montaῆes and Adrián Menendez-Maceiras.
Tournament director José María Leon Baῆares has confirmed that invitations will be for the Spaniards Jaume Antoni Munar from Mallorca, Agustín Boje from Seville and Mario Vilella from Alicante. The final spot could be given to Marcel Granollers if he loses in the opening round of the US Open doubles competition, where he is teaming up with Marc López.
The presentation of the tournament, was also attended by the Delegate of Sports City of Sevilla, José Luis David Garcia Guevara; President of the Andalusian Tennis Federation (FAT), Juan Miguel Navas; and the President of the Real Club de Tenis Betis, Javier Aguirre.
