Top seed Lucas Pouille and No. 9 seed Mikael Ymer will compete in Sunday’s singles final of the BNP Paribas Primrose Bordeaux. The World No. 32 emerged victorious from the all-French encounter with fourth favourite Gregoire Barrere, winning 6-1, 6-3.
Pouille capitalized on six of his eight break point chances to advance in 69 minutes. The 25-year-old Dubai resident, who lifted five trophies on the ATP Tour, is still seeking his first title at ATP Challenger level. Pouille played two finals before, finishing runner-up to Kimmer Coppejans in Meknes 2014 and to Benoit Paire in Mouilleron-Le-Captif one year later.

Later in the day, Mikael Ymer cruised past Filip Horansky from Slovakia 6-1, 6-0. The 20-year-old from Sweden won 66 per cent of the total points played to prevail after only 55 minutes.
Ymer and Pouille will meet for the first time. Ymer could clinch his second ATP Challenger title following his maiden triumph in Nouméa, New Caledonia at the beginning of the season.
