M25 Schlieren SUI – Daniel Masur with successful return to the ITF Pro Circuit

Daniel Masur was crowned champion of the 2. Tennis Pro Open Schlieren, held at the Tennisclub Schlieren. After competing exclusively on the ATP Tour and ATP Challenger Tour this season, No. 2 seeded Masur celebrated the title win at his first appearance on the ITF World Tennis Tour in 2019.

The 24-year-old German knocked off Lithuanian No. 4 seed Laurynas Grigelis in the stage of the final four in straight sets.

Benjamin Bonzi from France, who entered the competition on position three, stopped the way of top seeded local hero Sandro Ehrat from Switzerland in the semi-finals in three sets.

Winning 76 per cent of the points of his first-service points, Munich resident Masur claimed a 6-4, 6-2 victory after one hour and 26 minutes. He lifted his eighth singles career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, winning  a minimum of one title every year since his maiden triumph in 2014.

M25 Überlingen GER – Peter Heller triumphs on home soil

Peter Heller is the champion of the Überlingen Open hosted at the venue of the TC 1902 Überlingen e.V.

The 27-year-old German, who won six titles on the ITF Pro Circuit last year and was ranked ITF No.1 earlier this season, rallied past Brazilian No. 5 seed Bruno Sant’anna in the stage of the last four in two sets.

No. 2 seed Louis Wessels emerged victorious from the all-German semifinal-encounter versus No. 3 seed Kai Wehnelt in straight sets.

Top seed Heller capitalized on three of his 12 break-point chances without facing a break point in the title match to seal a 6-1, 6-4 win after 91 minutes. The Cham native celebrated his 12th career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M25 Helsinki FIN – Teenager Juan Manuel Cerundolo dominates in Finland

Juan Manuel Cerundolo clinched the title of the Digitalist Open, held at Tali Tennis Center in Helsinki, without losing a set during the tournament.

The 17-year-old Argentinian ended the title bid of top seeded French Corentin Denolly, who was ranked ITF No. 3 as a junior, in the stage of the final four in straight sets.

The tournament’s No. 2 Patrik Niklas-Salminen from Finland advanced from the bottom half of the draw by defeating Spanish No. 7 seed Jose Fco. Vidal Azorin in two sets.

No. 6 seed Cerundolo, who was ranked No. 9 in ITF Juniors last year, got the final win against his left-handed opponent with 6-2, 6-3. He lifted his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour after his maiden title in Tabarka earlier this season.

After the match, Cerundolo stated: “I was a bit nervous because I remembered the final in Baja, Hungary last week and I lost it. I didn’t feel tired at all because I won all the matches of this tournament in two sets and each of them took less than hour and a half.”

M25 Poznan POL – Vaclav Safranek seals his third season title

Vaclav Safranek took the trophy of the Talex Open, hosted at Akademicki Zwiazek Sportowy Poznan.

The 25-year-old Czech, who entered the competition on position five, advanced from the top half of the draw by defeating Camilo Ugo Carabelli from Argentina in straight sets.

No. 7 seed Diego Hidalgo from Ecuador battled past Argentinean No. 8 seed Agustin Velotti, who was ranked ITF No. 2 as a junior, in the semi-finals in a tough three-set encounter.

Brno-born Safranek secured the final victory by the score of 6-3, 6-2, to celebrate his 13th singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M25 Santander ESP – Oscar Jose Gutierrez clinches back-to-back titles on Spanish soil

Following his victory in Vigo last week, Oscar Jose Gutierrez sealed the trophy of the LXX Torneo Internacional RST de la Magdalena, which was held at Real Sociedad de Tenis de la Magdalena in Santander.

The 26-year-old Brazilian, who entered the tournament by his current ITF ranking, battled past Spanish qualifier Imanol Lopez Morillo in the stage of the final four in straight sets.

The tournament’s No. 7 Orlando Luz, who was ranked ITF No. 1 as a junior, set the all-Brazilian title match by defeating Spanish ITF entry Eduard Esteve Lobato in two sets.

Porto Alegre native Gutierrez claimed a 6-4, 6-1 win against his 21-year-old opponent to lift his fourth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Lambermont BEL – Dan Added claims his second title of the season

The Tournoi International de la Province de Liege, hosted at RETC Lambermont, concluded with the triumph of Dan Added from France.

After beating four Belgian players in a row, the 23-year-old met his top seeded countryman Mathieu Perchicot in the title match. Perchicot emerged victorious from the all-French semifinal-clash versus No. 4 seeded Gabriel Petit in two sets.

No. 2 seed Added secured a 4-6, 7-6, 7-5 victory in about three hours of play. Following his maiden title in Abuja earlier this season, the Strasbourg native lifted his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Cancun MEX – Ronan Joncour earns his first title on the ITF Pro Circuit

Left-handed Ronan Joncour got the championship of the Cancun Tennis Cup, held at Cancun Tennis Academy, to lift his first singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

The 22-year-old French stopped the run of US-American No. 2 seed Nick Chappell in the stage of the last four in three close sets.

18-year-old Thiago Agustin Tirante from Argentina triumphed in the semifinal-battle of the junior entries over 16-year-old Japanese Shintaro Mochizuki in straight sets. Tirante is currently ranked No. 6, Mochizuki No.1 in ITF Juniors.

In the championship match, unseeded Joncour made two points more than his teenaged rival by the score of 85-83, to seal a 3-6, 7-5, 6-1 victory after two hours and 20 minutes.

M15 Lambare PAR – Gonzalo Villanueva captures back-to-back titles

Following his championship in Eupen two weeks ago, Gonzalo Villanueva clinched the title of the M15 Lambare tournament, hosted at Yacht y Golf Club Paraguayo.

The 24-year-old got victorious from the all-Argentinean semifinal-encounter versus Gabriel Alejandro Hidalgo in straight sets.

The tournament’s No. 5 Joao Lucas Reis da Silva took the last step to the final by defeating Peruvian No. 3 seed Mauricio Echazu in two sets.

Lasting one hour and 40 minutes, top seed Villanueva converted five of his 12 break-point chances by losing one service game, to secure a 6-1, 6-3 win in the title match. The Parana native lifted his fifth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis tour, the third in 2019.

M15 Kiryat Shmona ISR – Alessandro Bega continues his title series

Alessandro Bega triumphed at the M15 Kiryat Shmona tournament, held at ITC Kiryat Shmona.

The top seeded Italian fought past his No. 3 seeded compatriot Francesco Vilardo in the stage of the final four in straight sets.

Marat Deviatiarov from the Ukraine, who entered the competition by his protected ranking, edged past No. 5 seeded Turkish veteran Marsel Ilhan in the semi-finals in three sets.

Both players scored 85 points in the title match. After two hours and 24 minutes, 28-year-old Bega prevailed with 6-2, 1-6, 6-4, to lift his 13th career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour. Since his maiden championship in 2012, he has clinched at least one singles trophy per season.

M15 Sintra POR – Antoine Escoffier caps dream week

The BTA Futures II, held at Beloura Tennis Academa in Sintra, culminated in the triumph of Antoine Escoffier. In addition to his championship in the singles competition without dropping a set, the French clinched the doubles trophy together with his countryman Maxime Tchoutakian.

The No. 2 seed eased past Belgian No. 3 seed Yannick Mertens in the semi-finals.

Lucas Poullain advanced to the all-French championship-match by defeating top seed Fred Gil from Portugal in two clear sets.

Cannes resident Escoffier claimed the final win by the score of 7-5, 6-4, to celebrate his eighth singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Curtea de Arges ROU – Veteran Mircea-Alexandru Jecan celebrates his maiden title

31-year-old Mircea-Alexandru Jecan clinched the title of the M15 Curtea de Arges tournament, held at Tennis Club Curtea de Arges.

The left hander emerged victorious from the all-Romanian semifinal-battle against No. 4 seed Nicolae Frunza in three sets.

Top seed Hernan Casanonva from Argentina battled past Bulgarian No. 3 seed Alexandar Lazarov in the stage of the final four in three sets.

Coming back from a set down in the title match, No. 8 seeded Jecan secured a 3-6, 7-6, 6-3 win to lift his first trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Moscow RUS – Alexander Zhurbin wins first title of the season

The M15 Moscow tournament, hosted at the National Tennis Centre, concluded with the championship of No. 4 seeded Alexander Zhurbin.

The 27-year-old Russian ended the title bid of his top seeded countryman Konstantin Kravchuk, who was previously ranked ATP No. 78, in the stage of the last four in three sets.

No. 2 seed Sanjar Fayziev from Uzbekistan rallied past Estonian qualifier Kenneth Raisma in the semi-finals in straight sets.

Following his four title wins in 2018, left-handed Zhurbin secured a 6-3, 6-1 victory in the title match to celebrate his fifth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Hua Hin THA – Seong Chan Hong clinches his fourth title of the season

22-year-old Seong Chan Hong from South Korea triumphed at the M15 Hua Hin tournament, which was held at True Arena Hua Hin.

The No. 4 seed knocked off British top seed Ryan Peniston in the semi-finals in three sets.

No. 2 seed Dayne Kelly emerged victorious from the all-Australian semifinal-clash versus No. 7 seed Bradley Mousley, who had to retire by the score of 3-6, 0-3.

Hong, who was ranked ITF No. 2 as a junior, got the final win against his 29-year-old rival with 7-5, 6-3, to lift his 10th career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Tabarka TUN – Clay-court specialist Matias Zukas prevails in Tunisia

Matias Zukas got the crown of the Magic Tours tournament, hosted at Thabraca Magic Hotel in Tabarka, to celebrate his seventh exclusively on clay court achieved singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

The 23-year-old Argentinian stopped the run of Italian qualifier Gregorio Lulli in the stage of the final four in three sets.

Top seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry booked the spot in the all-Argentinean title-match by defeating Slovenian No. 4 seed Tomas Lipovsek Puches in straight sets.

No. 2 seed Zukas sealed a 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 win in the championship match against his 20-year-old compatriot.

M15 Jakarta INA – Jumpei Yamasaki with his third season title

Jumpei Yamasaki got the championship of the M15 Jakarta tournament, held at Sultan Hotel Tennis Court.

The 22-year-old Japanese battled past Rhett Purcell from New Zealand in the semi-finals in straight sets.

Dusty H. Boyer from the United States made the last step to the final by defeating Japanese top seed Renta Tokuda in two sets.

The championship match was dominated by Saitama-born Yamasaki. The No. 3 seed claimed a 6-3, 6-1 win to lift his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis tour, all of them won in 2019.

M15 Minsk BLR – Artem Dubrivnyy dominates in Belarus

Artem Dubrivnyy prevailed at the Belagroprombank Cup, hosted at Republic Olympic Tennis Center in Minsk, without losing a set during the entire week.

The top seeded Russian rallied past Vadym Ursu from the Ukraine in the stage of the last four.

23-year-old Ivan Liutarevich from Belarus advanced from the bottom half of the draw by beating Canadian qualifier David Volfson in straight sets.

20-year-old Dubrivnyy sealed a 6-3, 7-6 victory in the title match to celebrate his fourth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
