HALLE/WESTFALEN, October 23, 2019
Organizers of the Grass Court Open announced on Wednesday that Borna Coric will return to Halle, Westphalia next year. The 22-year-old from Croatia clinched the title of the ATP Tour 500 event in 2018 by beating Swiss maestro Roger Federer in the final.
“It was a memorable win for me, a special victory,” Coric said. The World No. 24 will join Federer, Germany’s Alexander Zverev, Karen Khachanov of Russia and Japanese superstar Kei Nishikori for the 2020 line-up.
The 28th edition of the grass-court event at the Gerry Weber Stadium will be held on June 13 to 21, 2020.
