Lizette Cabrera and Alexander Crnokrak, both from Queensland, have won their first UTR Pro Tennis Series titles in Brisbane on Sunday.
Twenty-two-year-old Cabrera, top seed of the women’s competition, defeated Charlotte Kempenaers-Pocz from South Australia 4-6, 6-1, 10-6 in the final.
“I’m super happy with the win,” Cabrera told tennis.com.au after the title match on Pat Rafter Arena. “It was nice to finally win this week after losing in two finals. It feels really good. I’m really happy to be out on court and happy that tournaments are starting again.”
Twenty-year-old Crnokrak took just over an hour to outpower Maverick Banes of Queensland 6-2, 6-1 in the men’s title match.
