The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has confirmed that Luis Patiño, a 28-year-old Mexican tennis player, has been provisionally suspended under Article 7.12.1 of the 2022 Tennis Anti-Doping Programme (TADP). The ITIA sent the player a pre-charge notice of an Anti-Doping Rule Violation on 15 July under Article 7.12.2.2 of the TADP, confirming that the player is suspended from that date.

Patiño, who had a highest ATP Doubles ranking of 239, is being charged with Anti-Doping Rule Violations involving two S1 Anabolic Agents listed in the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List. While provisionally suspended, the player is ineligible to compete in or attend any tennis events authorised, organised or sanctioned by the governing bodies of the sport.
