STARNBERG, November 28, 2022

Given Serena Williams’ status in the female game now seemingly on the verge of retirement – although she currently denies she is, there has been a lot of focus on the next female stars and those that are set to come through the game and become legends and icons in their own right.

Indeed, we have already seen a number of talented players come through the ranks recently, thus suggesting that the women’s game is still as strong as ever when it comes to the quality of competitors, which should then result in being able to experience some of the best tennis around.

Naturally, this is good news for the game, and with the Australian Open scheduled to take place in January as the next major tournament on the schedule, there will be many in the Land Down Under that will be keen to know who the next top female prospects are.

Tennis has proven to be a popular game with many in the country over the years, with many playing numerous different games that are based on the sport. There have even been some that have played tennis-themed slots and other casino games that can be found on the sites that have been reviewed on https://www.australiaonlinecasinosites.com/review/, as the reviews provided ensure punters are able to get the best experiences possible in regard to safety and choice of available games among many other things. Given the popularity experienced by playing these games, it has led to many taking an interest in the present and the future of the sport.

But, who are those players? We already know a number of their names, but could they be considered prospects in terms of the success that they could potentially still achieve further along in their careers? Let’s take a look at some of them…

Iga Swiatek

It seems stupid to include Iga Swiatek on a list of prospects given that she has already been able to capture three major Grand Slam titles and is currently the World No. 1, however when you consider that the Polish athlete is still only 21, then it perhaps could be easy to understand that she is still a prospect.

With what she has already managed to achieve, there is no telling just how successful she could be in the future, although many will be quick to predict and suggest that there will be many more Grand Slams and major successes throughout the rest of her career.

Bianca Andreescu

Again, another name that many will perhaps recognize due to the success she had at the 2019 US Open where she beat Williams in the final, Bianca Andreescu is another female tennis player that could be considered a prospect. The Canadian is still only 22 years old, and after having a stellar 2019 as a 19-year-old, there are many that are tipping her for a bright future.

Emma Raducanu

Perhaps another name that could be considered more than a prospect, but due to her age can fall into the category, Emma Raducanu is another name that many will tip to be one of the best. The British star made headlines at the 2021 US Open after reaching the final and defeating Leylah Fernandez (another top prospect) as a 19-year-old where she had gone all the way through qualifying and without dropping a set in the entire tournament.

Verdict

Clearly, the names mentioned in this article are already household names, but given their age, they can still be considered the top prospects in female tennis as it is possible for them to still achieve so much more in the game.
