BERLIN, May 11, 2023
The bett1open 2023 will become the bett1open presented by ecotrans Group. The logistics company from Schönwalde-Glien in Brandenburg, Germany is now a presenting sponsor and one of the most important partners of the emotion group, which organizes the bett1open. In 2009 Bartosz Wojsznis had founded the company with two vehicles. In the meantime, the ecotrans Group has a fleet of over 500 vehicles and operates throughout Europe.
“I love tennis – and I’m very happy to now be able to support tennis even more,” Wojsznis said Wednesday when announcing the partnership at the VIVA Yoga Studio in Berlin Charlottenburg. And he also revealed how easy it was for the cooperation to come about: “The chemistry was right from the start.”
The bett1open will take place from June 17 to 25 and offers a total prize money of US-$850,000. The world’s strongest players will compete on the grass at the Steffi Graf Stadium of the LTTC “Rot-Weiß” e. V. in Grunewald, Berlin. Defending champion Ons Jabeur, reigning WTA Finals champion Caroline Garcia, Olympic champion Belinda Bencic as well as two-time Wimbledon winner Petra Kvitova have confirmed their participation, joining US-American superstar Coco Gauff and local hero Sabine Lisicki.
