The 76th TED Open Istanbul Challenger concluded with Damir Dzumhur of Bosnia and Herzegovina emerging as champion. The top seed of the ATP Challenger Tour 75 hard-court tournament held at the TED Sports Club defeated second-seeded Serbian Hamad Medjedovic 6-4, 6-2 in Sunday’s singles final.
Dzumhur advanced to the championship match with wins over Lithuanian veteran Ricardas Berankis, Croatian youngster Dino Prizmic, Jack Pinnington Jones of Great Britain and No. 3 seed Jesper de Jong from the Netherlands.
The World No. 82 withstood six aces in the final and broke Medjedovic’s serve four times to prevail after one hour and 28 minutes.

Dzumhur claimed his 13th ATP Challenger Tour career title, a tour-leading fifth of the season following his triumphs in Barletta, Ostrava, Zagreb and Santo Domingo. The 32-year-old pocketed $11,200 in prize money as well as 75 ATP Ranking points.
