Lucas Pouille picked up his third ATP World Tour singles trophy and improves to 3-2 in ATP World Tour finals, winning the title match of the €701,975 MercedesCup 4-6, 7-6, 6-4 against Feliciano López from Spain.
The 23-year-old Frenchman is one of two players to reach a final on all three surfaces this year, joining ‘s-Hertogenbosch winner Gilles Muller. En-route to the title, Pouille saved a match point in his opening round against Jan-Lennard Struff.
